Too Deep is a continuation of Eczemanotypes where the artist documents her skin condition eczema during the first few months of lockdown from COVID-19. This has affected her skin through the constant washing of her skin, causing dryness and redness to the skin. She portrayed this through cyanotypes with images that highlight the intricate details of the skin such as scars, hairs and peeled skin. The unpredictable outcomes of the cyanotype process create an impression that opens a discussion on society’s acceptance to imperfections and the body itself.
